This year's Fringe Festival begins with our new monthly Thursday double-bill - our usual poetry and music event begins now at 8.30pm, but is now preceded by the new Swansea Bay Film Society's monthly presentation of local shorts and quality features at 6.45pm. ONE ticket allows you entry to BOTH events!
Guest poets this month are champion slammers Steve Murray and Neil McCarthy, music from Boatbar to Hamburg: "Anthony Bunkham's poetic, sincere narratives accompanied by the be autiful harmonies of Dai Godwin warm the soul" - Susie Wild. Film showing will be the winning entries from June's Swansea Bay Film Festival.
Neil McCarthy lives in Galway, Ireland, where he works as an English teacher and freelance writer. His poetry has been published in various journals in the UK, Ireland, the USA, Canada, Finland and New Zealand.
